He serves in the area of advice and in contentious area before the official courts and in arbitrations.
He is an Adjunct Professor of Obligations, Contracts and Civil Liability at the Faculty of Law of the University of the Republic and Associate Professor of Obligations at the Faculty of Law of the University of Montevideo. His professional activity is marked by a high specialization in Civil and Commercial Law. In his activity he frequently develops the role of consultant in matters of high specialization or complexity in the subjects of his specialization.
Its main areas of practice are Civil Law, Commercial Law, Bankruptcy Law and Horizontal Property and Administrative Law (administrative contracting).
He has extensive experience in contentious matters, in disputes of various subjects: corporate disputes, unfair competition, cessation of use trade name, defense of competition, patents, contests, protection of investments in BITs, legal regime of property in marriage, public concessions, contractual responsibility, non-contractual liability, protection processes, processes of unconstitutionality of the law, actions of nullity, etc.
He has been legal advisor to numerous companies in Uruguay in areas such as: telecommunications, construction, health, gas, chlorine industry, technology, professional guild, competition defense, unfair competition, distribution contracts, etc.
Prior to founding our firm, he was a partner in a first-class law firm leading its trials department; with relevant activity in the advisory area.

INTERVENTION AS A LAW PRODUCTION SPECIALIST

• He was appointed as a member of the Commission to make amendments to Article 1844 of the Civil Code (Decenal Responsibility) in the context of an application by Parliament to the Institute of Civil Law Rooms I and II of the Faculty of Law-UDELAR and other universities. Today Law No. 19.726

• It was convened by the National Housing Agency to collaborate in the drafting of the Bill on "Empty and Degraded Urban Buildings. It drafted several articles especially regarding the existence of inscribed promises on horizontal property units providing a solution to the subject. Today Law No. 19.676.

2006-2007: Member of the Arbitral Tribunal of Professional Football of the Uruguayan Football Association. I was a referee of that Collegiate body, understanding money claims promoted by professional footballers against sports institutions affiliated with the Uruguayan Football Association.
